Bluesmannus live guitar rig

This is my rig, used live and in the studio. Almost every video I posted on youtube has the same question in the comments, what equipment do I use and how it's connected to get the tone. Below you can see the gear and the order in which it is connected, as well as some important settings.

With this setup, I get the tones you hear in my videos. I mic the speaker and record in my DAW.

Connected in this way, the G Major 2 also serves as master volume.

When the Sansamp is on bypass, the signal path is guitar-wah-Fender BD-speaker, so the sound is very clean and not colored by anything. When the Sansamp is in use, I get all the versatility of the two rack units.

A very important factor in the sound is that I use a 5751 tube in V1 and Ecc81 in V3 as a PI. With the stock 12ax7 tubes, the sound is very different and harsh.

Some would argue that the Sansamp should be in front of the BD preamp, but I found that this setup sounds best, and I get the dynamic response from the tubes better this way.

On some occasions I also connect an Ibanez Tubescreamer in front, right after the wah.
